rockit presents Wallpaper

After presenting our first ever clanshirt to the public one week ago and getting a lot of positive feedback regarding the look of it, we can today present you a further little gimmick. What I've been talking about is an exclusive rockit wallpaper for our players at LAN and for your personal desktop at home if you like. Of course its red as well (how could it be any different) and it is filled with our lovely rockit logo as well as our very own partners below. Have a look at it and feel free to use it. Our DoD:S team will be having that wallpaper on their LAN PC's as well, so everybody can identify them.

Thanks goes out to our designer HellKn1ght who's working his arse off for the project. Nice work mate, rockit would be nothing without you!

Anjougame - Prizes announced !

Right after the LAN weekend for our ET team there is a next event to come - this time for DoD:S. Between Friday the 12th and Sunday the 14th of March, France's finest day of defeat source teams will go head to head in what looks to be an action packed weekend in Angers, France for the Anjougame LAN. As announced on several eSports websites, our Day of Defeat source team is moving to Angers with their full line-up this upcoming weekend. Read on for more information regarding the team, the tournament itself and the map pool that will be used at Anjougame.

A total of 40 teams will be entering the tournament, split up into 8 groups of 5 teams each played played in a 2 * 20min format. (1map) The top 2 of each group advance to a pro-tournament and the 3 others in the amateur one.

Amateur Tournament :
The teams who finished in positions 3, 4 and 5 for the first group stage will be dispatch in 6 groups of 4 teams played in a 2 * 20min format. Then the first 4 will be qualified of the 6 groups for semi finals, the difference will be made by fullcap average.

Pro Tournament :
A second pool phase containing 4 groups of 4 teams played in 4 * 15min. (2map)
The winner of each pool advance to the semifinals, followed by the grand finale on stage.

Crew member Merlin has just published his pictures taken from the Crossfire Intel Challenge 7 last weekend. The pictures show the Call of Duty 4 area as well as the Enemy Territory one with players, shoutcasters, teams, the bar and the venue in general. The quality of the pics is amazing and anyone wanting to have a look at WZZRD Gaming Centre and its events should not miss this great photos. February Ladder Wars Results

Clover has again featured in the top3 of the Monthly Ladder Wars competition from EA, after a month of grueling games he finished 3rd in the qualification round to get into the playoffs where the top4 play to see who gets top prize! With four skilled players in the playoffs anything can happen and Clover would have to work hard to continue his run of podium finishes in the Ladder Wars competitions.

Unfortunately Clover went down to eSkill*greasy in the semi finals but picked himself straight back up in the third place playoff game against dignitas/Apollo who he beat 2-0 with his opponent leaving partway through the second map. The final standings for the Playoffs were:

It has been an exciting weekend for Enemy Territory and our team in Enschede, Holland. The Crossfire Intel Challenge 7, being the greatest ET LAN tournament ever held, has just come to an end with our players coming second after Team Dignitas winning gold. The event has entered new levels this time as more than 400 competitive gamers went there to play for more than 15.000€ in hardware and cash prizes. Around 1.500 viewers on ETTV combined with two completely full video streams are numbers that no one expected to be seen at the beginning. Also the spectator numbers on stage have improved and several hundred people have enjoyed a phenomenous tournament.

After strong performances in this tournament our team find themself winning 1.500€ cash to go home with. In the end Dignitas seemed to be just a bit stronger or some might say luckier in one or another situation of the final match. Nevertheless none of the players have to be sad as they not only played awesome on their own but also made the community cheering for them due to their passion for the game and just being how they are - a great bunch of guys. Within the upcoming days we will bring you pictures taken from the LAN together with statements of the players and much more to come.

rockit.ET in CiC7 Grand Final

After losing maps in the groupstage to e-Wave and HighBot our boys from rockit.ET were able to get the teamplay working again which resulted in decent performances against the play-off opponents dESIRE and pstarZ both won with 4:0. The first challenger for the top3 places to face was no other than Team YoYoTech and the match up did not promise too much as this meeting became one epic battle. About 700 viewers have been following a skill packed WB semi final lasting three maps. With only five seconds left rockit managed to drive the truck on Supplydepot to the end although Meez was already cheering before and not considering that the team did not win the match already at that point.

This close victory brought us into the WB Final to play surprisingly strong Poles from tMoe who right before kicked Dignitas down to the Loser Bracket. Having had respect for that performance our team had to concentrate very hard to pull off a win but they did it with a clear 4:0 and are now facing either Dignitas or tMoe in the Grad Final of Crossfire Intel Challenge 7 with a prize purse of round about 6.200€ in total being cash and hardware prizes.

CIC7 Day 3!

20:00 CET:
rockit.ET unfortunately lost to Dignitas in an epic match. CiC7 is over and only the CoD4 finals as well the the ceremony at the end is to come.

19:00 CET:
Complete power blackout at the LAN location, the staff is on it.

18:15 CET:
Dignitas won the decider with an unbelievable last intend to stop Meez from delivering the objective. The second set of this grand final is going to start in some minutes.

18:00 CET:
After winning the first map Dignitas was able to win the second one which leads both teams into a decider which will be played on Frostbite now.

16:00 CET:
The Grand Final have been slidely delayed and will now most probably be played at 16:15 CET or some minutes later. Here are the needed links so you wont miss anything.
